- Canon is giving away thirty-two (32) PowerShot A490s weekly for 8 months in Living Asia’s Snapshots Asia program. The contest is open to all residents of the Philippines who use a Canon digital compact camera for their entry. (PowerShot or Digital IXUS)
- The theme for the season is “One-Shot Moments: Seize L1fe with Canon.” Interested parties are asked to create special memories and adventures each day and to capture these with their Canon camera.
- Manipulated photos will NOT be accepted. Only basic enhancements like cropping, resizing, and minor adjustments in brightness and contrast will be allowed.
- Each individual may submit up to two (2) entries only and may only win once.
- To join, contestants need only send their entries to snapshotsasia.canon@gmail.com along with their name, age, occupation, email address, contact number/s, and complete receiving address. Contestants may opt to include a title and a short description of up to 50 words with their entries. Confirmation emails will be sent to all participants within five (5) working days to notify them of the receipt and validity of their entries. Please follow the following format for the file name and e-mail subject:
- File name: (Your Last Name)_(First Name)
- E-mail subject: Snapshots Asia – Canon photo contest entry
- Deadline for entries will be at 11:59PM of every 20th of the month for the duration of the airing of the show’s first season in Living Asia. Judging will be done every last Friday of the month, 4PM, at the Canon head office.
- Entries must be submitted in JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 500KB only.
- Four winners per month will receive a brand new Canon PowerShot A490 worth Php 6,950.
- Prizes are not convertible to cash.
- Prizes not claimed within 60 days from the receipt of notification will be forfeited with prior DTI approval.
